Ingredients
1 pound ground beef, 80/20
Seasoning salt, added to taste
Black pepper, added to taste
4 slices Best Choice American Cheese
4 Best Choice Hamburger Buns, toasted
Burger Sauce: 1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Best Choice Mustard
Toppings: Bibb lettuce slices
Tomato slices
Red onion slices
Method
Divide ground beef into four pieces and form each section into a loose ball. Place meat back in the refrigerator to keep cool while you prepare the grill. Prepare burger sauce by mixing mayo and mustard together in a small bowl.
Heat a cast iron griddle to 450 degrees. Place hamburger ball on hot griddle. Cover with a piece of parchment paper and press down with a large spatula. Get the patty down to about 1/4 inch. Sprinkle with seasoning salt and ground pepper. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip burger and cover with a slice of Best Choice American Cheese. Cook for 1 minute then place burger on a toasted bun with the burger sauce and your favorite toppings.
