Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef
½ cup Always Save Tomato Sauce
¼ cup water
½ tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
½ tsp Always Save Garlic Powder
½ tsp Always Save Minced Onion
½ tsp paprika
⅛ tsp oregano
¼ tsp pepper
⅛ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Method
Brown up the lean ground beef over medium-high heat, crumbling the beef up into small chunks.
Once completely browned, drain off any excess fat and blot with a paper towel to get any residual grease.
Return the meat to the heat and add in the tomato sauce, water, chili powder, cumin, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Serve as desired.
